(San Francisco, CA) — For those looking at attraction options for the Spring season, Red and White Fleet is offering a myriad of San Francisco Bay cruises.  Beginning April 1, 2013, the available line up of cruises is ideal for those on Spring Break,
celebrating the long Easter Weekend, on a getaway over Memorial Day Weekend or just to get out of the house for an outdoor, soft adventure.

During the Spring Season, passengers can choose from any one of Red and White Fleet’s popular cruises, including San Francisco’s original Golden Gate Bay Cruise, the California Sunset Cruise and the Bridge 2 Bridge Cruise.

San Francisco’s original bay tour, the Golden Gate Bay Cruise, was launched in 1939 as part of the Golden Gate International Exposition.  This cruise has been a highlight of any visit to San Francisco for over 70 years and a favorite for locals as well. The one hour excursion sails along San Francisco’s breathtaking waterfront, under the majestic Golden Gate Bridge and around notorious Alcatraz Island. On route, passengers will discover San Francisco’s history and world famous landmarks through a personal headphone audio tour, available in 12 languages. Prices are $28 for adults (18+) and $18 for youth (ages 5-17).  Children under five are free. There will be 11 departures daily, starting at 10:00 a.m., throughout the season, as follows: 10:00 a.m.; 10:45 a.m.; 11:15 a.m.; Noon; 1:10 p.m.; 1:40 p.m.; 2:30 p.m.; 3:00 p.m.; 3:45 p.m.; 4:15 p.m.; and 5:00 p.m.  Tickets purchased now or at any time are valid within 365 days after the date of purchase.

The two-hour California Sunset Cruise features views of the city’s spectacular nightscape and the setting sun behind the Golden Gate Bridge, live guitar entertainment, light appetizers from the buffet and a hot or cold beverage from the bar.  Nestled into the warm and cozy atmosphere of Red and White Fleet’s historic ferry boats, the cruise will pass along the skyline of San Francisco, around Alcatraz and Angel Island, along the shores of Tiburon and Sausalito and under the legendary Golden Gate Bridge.  Prices are $58 for adults (18+) and $40 for youth (ages 5-17).  Children under five are free.  The Spring season features cruises on Wednesday-Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m.

The popular new Bridge 2 Bridge Cruise allows passengers to discover a comprehensive view of San Francisco’s entire waterfront, from the Golden Gate Bridge along San Francisco Bay’s opening into the Pacific Ocean to the Bay Bridge in the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District. As the only bay tour that passes under both magnificent bridges, the cruise features spectacular views of urban and natural scenery, all combined into one 90-minute loop.  The Spring season features cruises daily at 12:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. Prices are as follows: Adults (18+) = $36; Youth (5-17) = $24; and Children under five = free. Tickets purchased now or at any time for the Bridge 2 Bridge Cruise are valid within 365 days after the date of purchase.

Advance bookings are recommended as these cruises will sell out on some days/evenings. A full bar with drinks, snacks and merchandise (including logo wear) are available onboard.
